Money Reset

Privacy

Privacy is the feature.
Here’s the proof.

The short version: your exact financial numbers never go into analytics or ads — they live on your device, with one private backup so you don’t lose them. Your application is stored only to run the cohort, and one email deletes everything. The long version is below — it’s short too.

Where your numbers live — and the one backup

Your baseline financials (income, expenses, cash) and mission progress live in your browser’s local storage on your phone. There is no bank linking — ever — so there are no bank credentials or transactions for anyone to store, sell, or breach.

One backup exists, and it’s for you: so that an iPhone clearing its storage (Safari does this after about a week idle) or a new phone doesn’t wipe weeks of work, your progress — including those financials — is copied to our database (Supabase), tied to your anonymous cohort session ID, never your name. It is used only to restore your own progress, never sold or shared, and one email deletes it. For a copy that never touches our servers at all, grab a backup code in Settings — it lives on your clipboard.

What we do collect, and why

When you apply to a cohort we store what you submit — your email, income band, the two application paragraphs, and your LinkedIn URL if you chose to share it — in our database (Supabase), to evaluate the application and run the cohort: your acceptance email, access restoration, and occasional cohort-operations email from the founder. Feedback you submit in-app is stored the same way, tied to your anonymous cohort session ID rather than your name. That’s the full list. We never sell or share any of it.

No newsletter

Applying does not put you on a mailing list. Accepted members get transactional email (access link, cohort operations). Waitlisted applicants are only added to a short monthly update if they explicitly reply asking for it. Every email tells you how to stop getting emails.

Product analytics

We use PostHog to see which screens work and where the product loses people — events like “scan completed” or “mission opened,” keyed to an anonymous session ID. Where a result has a dollar value, we send only a coarse size-band (e.g. “$250–499”), never your exact figure. Session replay is on during the beta so we can watch broken interactions instead of guessing: everything you type is masked, and on-screen dollar figures are masked too, before anything is sent. Errors are reported to Sentry so crashes get fixed. There are no advertising trackers on this site.

Cookies

One cookie: it remembers your cohort session so your access survives a cleared tab. No third-party ad cookies.

Testimonials

We only quote you publicly if you checked the testimonial-consent box, and even then only first name, role, and reclaimed-dollar figure. Revoke anytime by emailing us — revocation removes the quote from future use, no questions asked.

Payments

The founding cohort is free. If you ever buy a paid tier, checkout runs through Stripe — your card details go to Stripe, not to us. We keep only the purchase record needed to restore your access.

See it or delete it

Email hello@moneyreset.app from the address you applied with and we’ll send you a copy of everything we hold about you, or delete all of it — application, feedback, purchase record. No retention questionnaire, no delay games. Your on-device data you can delete yourself: Settings → reset, or clear the site data in your browser.
